Letter to UCF Student Body

Your vote counts now more than ever because you finally have two candidates that are not looking to use the Presidency in order to place another dot on their resume. We bring a real concern for student interests to the Presidency because we will work WITH the administration rather than FOR the administration. |

Because of the exciting growth at UCF your vote will be more important this time than in any election in the last decade at UCF. How will the university ensure the safety of its students and their belongings on campus and off? How will the administration handle tailgating rights at the new stadium? Will the administration restore the loss of constitutional rights from the Golden Rule? Will the growth on the satellite and main campuses be motivated by student-based growth or will it be motivated solely by the bottom dollar? And will that growth be environmentally friendly and sustainable. Who are you going to trust to answer these questions. Rest assured, we have a history of standing up for student rights. Whether on the senate floor, at a demonstration, or behind the scenes working with the administration, we’re the only candidates who have used their time at UCF to work on behalf of student interests, not to situate ourselves into cushy positions. Please take a moment of your time to view our platform as well as the other candidates’ and make sure you vote February 19-21 at my.ucf.edu. We understand that voting for UCF Student Body President is an important decision that will effect your future here on campus. If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to volunteer on our campaign please feel free to contact us. Regards, This website was approved by Laurel Anderson January 29th, 2006. |
